Dr. Dann Charlat

Founder & CEO

Most people come to I.MOVE. because they're in pain. But pain is never the full story. Behind every injury or flare-up is something deeper — the fear of losing your ability to train, move freely, and stay sharp. Whether it's lifting, running, or just getting a workout in without second-guessing every rep, movement is your outlet. It's your anchor. And when pain takes that away, it affects far more than your body.
Dr. Dann specializes in helping active adults move better, feel stronger, and stay pain-free for the long haul. With a background in weightlifting, CrossFit, and functional movement coaching, his goal isn't short-term relief — it's confidence, clarity, and freedom in your body for years to come. His treatment blends hands-on care, functional strength training, and movement education, so you're not just recovering — you're rebuilding.

Degrees & Certifications:

• University of Western States — Doctor of Chiropractic, BSc in Human Biology
CSCS - Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS): Part I
Neurodynamics - Evaluation and Treatment of Nerves
Additional distinctions via the Canadian Chiropractic Board of Examiners (CCEB)
Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance — Level 1

Dr. David Armer

Clinician, Chiropractor

Dr. David has spent his entire life in motion. Hockey. Football. Five years of rugby in the OUA — Ontario University Athletics, the Canadian equivalent of NCAA Division I. And over a decade of serious weightlifting on top of all of that. Those years gave him a firsthand understanding of what athletes' bodies are actually being asked to do, and what they need to keep doing it.

Before joining I.MOVE., Dr. David focused on treating concussions and post-concussion syndrome, and participated in a novel research study evaluating exercise as an intervention for POTS. Today, his work centers on rehabilitating movement dysfunctions, sports injuries, and bone and muscle injuries — with a deep focus on helping people understand their own bodies so the results actually last.

He feels honored to help people stay strong and resilient for decades. By empowering patients with the knowledge and tools to maintain their health on their own, he's not just enhancing their quality of life — he's giving them the independence to take charge of it.

Degrees & Certifications:

• University of Western States — Doctor of Chiropractic, BSc in Human Biology

• Oregon State University Honors College — BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Medical Humanities Certificate

• Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS): Part I

Neurodynamics - Evaluation and Treatment of Nerves

Motion Palpation Institute (MPI): Spine Adjusting

Webster Certification

NASM Corrective Exercise Specialization

Dr. Ali Herrera

Clinician, Chiropractor

Dr. Ali helps people get back to moving with confidence — not just pain-free, but stronger, more aware, and more in control of their body than they've felt in years.
With a background in sports, competitive boxing, and a degree in mechanical engineering, she brings a rare blend of athletic intuition and analytical precision to her care. She has seen firsthand how much life improves when people feel good in their bodies — and how quickly pain can chip away at motivation, momentum, and even identity.
Her focus isn't just on fixing what hurts. It's helping patients understand why it happened, how to move better, and how to stay out of the cycle for good. She blends hands-on treatment with our education-based rehab, so her patients leave every session more capable, empowered, and significantly more knowledgeable about how to keep their pain away long-term.
Before joining I.MOVE., she worked in a traditional chiropractic office where most visits were short and passive. While grateful to help people feel some relief, she knew patients deserved more: time to be heard, space to learn, and a plan that actually led to long-term change. At I.MOVE., she gets to give patients exactly that.

Jenny

Patient Coordinator

Jenny is usually the first person you'll talk to on the phone — and the first person you'll meet when you walk through our door. She'll know your name before you arrive, and she'll know your story before you sit down.
She's been an athlete her entire life — volleyball, cheer, cross country, softball — and discovered CrossFit in her 30s, falling in love with lifting hard enough that she's spent the last seven years coaching it as a Level 2 coach. That love of fitness, and her love of people, is what brought her to I.MOVE. — first as a patient, then as part of the team.
She's here for one reason: she believes there's nothing better than being part of a team that gets people back to doing what they love.
